This is orizontal continous casting machine for brass rods. Chinese high quality machine with high technology. Brass rod diameter: available for diameter 8-60mm. Equipment including: melting furnace, automatic traction machine, cutting machine, water distribution system, peeling machine, straightening machine and spectrometer. Brass rod quality: chemical composition, geometric size, internal and external surface, low metallographic structure, and etc., all meet the next processing requirements.
Production process of horizontal continuous casting of brass rod is as follows: Brass raw material→ melting furnace → crystallizer → cooling → traction machine → online synchronous cutting machine → automatic tilt material rack→ peeling machine→ straightening machine.
Feed all the raw materials into melting furnace chamber in certain order, and cover the raw material with covering agent, keep the casting temperature in a certain range(normally controlled in 1070ºC-1080ºC) after the raw materials melt to brass liquid, keep liquid level in a certain scope, brass liquid flow into the crystallizer(under the effection of gravity and liquid pressure), and crystallize into brass rod in crystallizer by water cooling, The traction(casting) process is carried out according to the characteristics of brass and pre-set process technical parameters.
